ECB turns down industry request – investigation into LME nickel trading suspension

This story on the Reuters web site reports that the Bank of England and Financial Conduct Authority has opened an investigation into the recent suspension of nickel trading on the London Metals Exchange (LME). The suspension followed a large price spike. A daily price limit is still in place.
