The significant changes to EMIR reporting that have been in discussion for quite some time (see here) will apply in the EU from the 29th April 2024, following the publication of the relevant documents in the Official Journal of the European Union. The documents can be found here. These significant changes will require affected market participants to make extensive changes to reporting arrangements. The UK version of these changes (see here) have not yet been finalised.

Some emergency intervention legislation in energy markets (see here), has also been published in the Official Journal here following Council meetings last week. More will follow on this topic.
