The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published the latest MarketWatch newsletter, this time about EMIR reporting, on the first anniversary of the start of the “REFIT” change in the UK (see here). The newsletter can be found here.

The publication looks at the success of market participants in meeting the requirements over the transition period, and also looks at issues such as error handling, breach notifications and the use of third party software. It is stated that the FCA will be increasing its monitoring of breach notifications and reporting in general in the future.
