ACER have today published the latest version of the approved RRM list by data type, which can be found here. It follows yesterday’s announcement by EFETNet that they have gained approval for all of the formats in which a market participant can report, including tables 3 and 4 and fundamental data.

Looking at the list, there are now still only 5 entities approved for all of these formats, with several major RRMs still to gain approval. One can also see a far longer list of RRMs including the names of market participants.

ACER have reported receiving nearly 900 applications from prospective  “self reporting” RRMs, i.e. market participants who wish to report data directly, rather than to go through a third party RRM. ACER have stated that they are giving such applications a low priority, and are generally discouraging market participants from pursuing this route.

With less than three weeks to go until reporting starts, many will be anxiously waiting for their RRM to gain approval.
