Entso-e , the umbrella body for EU Electricity Transmission System Operators (TSOs) today issued this press release announcing the recent launch of their pan European transparency platform.

The platform, taken live in early January, is the result of the recent Electricity Transparency Regulation, which mandates the submission of physical data around power. The new platform can be found here. Entso-g’s gas transparency platform can be found here.

The data from these platforms will also be used as part of Fundamental Data gathering for REMIT, although there will be some additional work to in order to complete the data set. The platform is intended to further build towards an open single European Gas and Power market, as envisaged by the Third Package.
