ISDA response to the UK EMIR Consultation

ISDA has published a response to the consultation recently run by the FCA and Bank of England on proposed changes to the EMIR reporting rules in the UK (see here). The response can be found here. The response makes several suggestions, including moving to one sided reporting in certain situations, and a more definitive move to the use of UPIs (Unique Product Identifiers). Several comments are also made about alignment with the upcoming changes to the EU version of EMIR (see here), with a view expressed that in some instances, alignment with other global standards is preferable.
