It has been announced that a market participant in Hungary has been fined 500 million HUF (approx 1.4M EUR) for a breach of REMIT article 5. The fine is levied by the MEKH (the Hungarian National Regulatory Authority) relates to activity in January 2022 in the auction of gas transportation capacity over the Hungary/Austria border.
