We are back after a short break to find that yesterday, the long awaited REMIT II Implementing and Delegated Regulations have been adopted by the European Commission. The first will govern how REMIT reporting will be carried out in the future and is very relevant to market participants. The second governs how Registered Reporting Mechanisms (RRMs) and Inside Information Platforms (IIPs) will be governed and run in the future. The Implementing Regulation can be found here and the Delegated Regulation here.
ACER has at the same time published open letters related to each of the Regulations. They can be found here and here.
Further information will be published over the coming days and also discussed at the forthcoming webinar on 23rd April (see here) with further workshops, consultations starting next week (see here) and eventually new specifications and schemas.
Those who subscribe to ETR’s Regulatory Support Service(see here) will be received detailed commentary and guidance on the changes.
