ESMA has issued an updated Questions and Answers document relating to EMIR, which can be found here. In addition to updating a specific question on backloading , many of the answers have now been modified to refer to the new EMIR RTS, which starts to apply from 1st November 2017 (see here).

In addition, ESMA has released a new validations table to be applied under the new RTS, which can be found here.

The new EMIR RTS will be examined in detail at a course being run by ETR Advisory and Entrima on data reporting, which is being held in Amsterdam on 16th May. ETR’s training list can be found here.
