Following the publication of a legislative proposal by the European Commission on security of supply measures related to gas storage (see here), ACER has published a report on the current status of gas storage across member states. The report can be accessed here. More discussions are likely on the topic in the coming weeks.

The UK Government has published the “British Energy Security Strategy” which looks at how energy sources and infrastructure will be developed in future. It includes a commitment to undertake a Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA) with options presented by the summer. The strategy can be found here.
