A new service called “REMITREP” has been set up to facilitate compliance with the requirement under REMIT II that non-EU entities have a “Representative” in the EU. The new service has been set up by ETR Advisory and Correggio Consulting. More details can be found here.

From November 8th 2024, REMIT II requires that entities not based in the EU appoint a representative in the main country of activity(see here). The REMITREP service offers representatives in eight countries and is structured to provide the service at a low cost.
