The CNMC (National Regulatory Authority of Spain) has fined a Market Participant just over 1M EUR for issuing non genuine orders in the electricity market sending false or misleading signals. The activity occurred between August 2022 and March 2023 and sought to take control of the order book for contracts over the border to France. The press release can be found here and the order here.
