DKER, the National Regulatory Authority of Bulgaria, has imposed fines of 10,000 BGN each (approx 5,000 EUR) on two firms for breaches of REMIT Article 4, the obligation to disclose Inside Information. One firm failed to publish information on electricity facilities and the other for failure to disclose information around gas supplies in a timely manner. The notice can be found here (in Bulgarian).
ACER has announced that they will run a consultation in October around changes to the “CEREMP” database, in which all REMIT Market Participants must register. The registration contents and formats are likely to need to change after changes to the regulations over previous years. Some fields have already been added since REMIT II went into force (e.g. algorithmic trading and DEA flags, or the representative for non EU market participants). The consultation appears to signal a more significant change. The pre announcement can be found here.
