ISDA yesterday published this viewpoint on EMIR Trade Reporting. It highlights some of the difficulties that have been encountered, particularly with items such as UTI formats etc. The contents of last nights ESMA Q+A may go some way to addressing that.

The viewpoint also talks of the difficulty for regulators in aggregating the data, not only within the EU but also across jurisdictions. That is being covered by the FSB’s review.
