ACER has commenced a second public consultation on the REMIT Trade Reporting User Manual. (TRUM) as well as the requirements on becoming a Registered Reporting Mechanism (RRM). ESMA issued a new version of the EMIR Questions and Answers document yesterday, which can be found here. There are not many updates that are applicable to those in energy and commodities, although there is one update of the application of segregation rules by non EU clearing members. (CCP Q7i)
See this interesting article on Commodity Fact about the issue of measuring “deliverable supply” in certain commodities. Deliverable supply is one of the factors that are taken into account when setting Position Limits. This issue was briefly discussed at the open hearing on Tuesday. Notes will soon be published.
