There have been further developments in the case regarding market manipulation in wheat futures in the US (see here). This article on the CNBC web site reports that one of the defendants is suing the CFTC for publishing the press release. This article on food business news reports that the chair and two commissioners of the CFTC have been ordered to testify about the matter.

This article on the Reuters web site reports that an anti trust case against several parties in the US has been revived by the appeals court. The case relates to the possibility that aluminium prices were driven up by restricting supply.
