The CRE (French NRA) has published a decision to levy a fine of 80,000 EUR on a market participant for the late disclosure of Inside Information under REMIT Article 4. The decision can be found here. The market participant published outages of assets of 400 MW after the recommended time of “within an hour” (as per ACER guidance) on 7 occasions between April 2019 and October 2020. This is the latest in a string of fines (for example see here).

Following the recent adoption of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) (see here), and the start of the reporting mechanism in January 2024, the European Commission has announced a series of webinars.
