A fine has been levied on a firm by the CRE (the French National Regulatory Authority) and CoRDIS for failing to provide all of the data requested in a Request for Information. The notice can be found here and full decision document here. CRE had requested that 44 firms provide data around trading in winter 2022/2023. The firm failed to comply with all of the requests as outlined in the notice.
This is the first such fine for failure to provide information to a regulator under REMIT.
