The deputy governor at the Bank of England, Paul Tucker, has re affirmed his thoughts to a Treasury Select Committee that EMIR and other rules arising from the 2009 G20 Pittsburgh Summit are making a new set of “too big to fail” institutions, namely CCPs, which are not purported to be supervised enough.
